The Monster Teeth Mouth Ring was originally designed for and in cooperation with Brent Hinds who was best known for being the lead guitarist and co-singer of the Atlanta heavy metal band Mastodon. Sadly Brent passed away in 2025.
He originally wrote: “I really would love to have two of these monster teeth mouth rings without the display plate on the front (referring to a previously made custom ring) ..just two round silver mouths with horrible teeth that fit together as one ring! … Silver with a Lapis Lazuli stone hidden somewhere.”
In the process we made a few corrections and adaptations:
“Yeah coming along nicely! Dig in on that detail and make it super knarley ..also maybe it doesn’t have all its teeth and they’re not all so symmetrical..that way you know definitely which way it fits together”
When I presented him with the final version this were his words:
“Wow this turend out really cool!!!”
These rings will all be handcarved from wax and can be purchased with a colored stone option.
