The winged skullring started out as a custom job and thanks to Marco this amazing piece is now available to the public.
All of the carving was originally done in Sterling Silver instead of a wax carving to be able to achieve the highest level of detail possible. Utilizing a 40x microscope and lots of time to bring out all the small details needed to make it look perfect from every angle. Though you might think that the horns could potentially become a comfort problem when wearing this little eyecatcher, I took special care and designed the horns to never touch the skin when wearing it on your finger. The horns are not too pointy, so handling and touching the ring is never a risk of injury. Plus the horns are sturdy enough to endure normal wear and tear. The inside of the ring is rounded on the edges and mirrorpolished for maximum comfort.
Two main finishes are available:
- All black oxidized, still very durable but will fade after some time of wearing, revealing YOUR individual pattern of wear. The inside of the ring is mirror-polished.
- Partial black oxidation, High contrast between flat silver and black oxidized depths.The inside of the ring is mirror-polished.
Goldversions are possible and should not break the bank in this case due to the smaller size and weight of the ring.
Measurements are:
16.5 mm - Jaw to point of the horns
10 to 4.5 mm - Ringband
5 - 2mm Thickness (this will vary a bit depending on the ringsize)
